This thesis started from the developmental process of public concerned youth living condition, analyzed the journey and feature of domestic and overseas youth residential development, summarized its experience, categorized its features, and did detailed research about the feature of youth consumption and residential behaviour in the modern city. We also studies some weaknesses of youth residence in its interior design section, combine with some typical samples from domestic main cities and overseas cities, to investigate, study,learn, analyze and evaluate. Through study summarized the features, problems and design methods of urban youth residential interior design, categorize and analyze them, find different design method, deal with various practical problems, to meet the flavour and needs of modern youth living in various family structure, doing detailed study about each functional space, explore future developmental trend, hope to promote the development of future youth residential interior design.
