    Based on the original definition,university is the name of a institution where different knowledge will betaught. It means people go to university should be able to learn a series ofscience and knowledge and should be well instructed about making choice intheir live, dealing with different problems and communicating with people. Unfortunatelythe subject in the catalogue of each university has become more and morespecific and what students will learn have become less and less, the problemsthey deal with have become narrower and narrower. Such kind of education systemhas resulted the incompetence of the graduates, which contributed the phenomenonthat graduates from universities, particularly larger and famous universitiesare less competitive at job market. When they are asked what they have learnedand what they can, their answer often cannot break the boundary of their textbook. As to the common and simple knowledge and the way of daily life are oftenwhat they are lack of. It is a pity that our graduates, their knowledge andtheir skills are so narrowly developed that there has been gap between theirabilities and the expectation of the employers. Therefore dramatic reform inthe education system is urgently needed. Students should have a chance to learn how to present themselves and how to sale themselves at job market.

    When it comes to this question,many people think that university is the place where students should study hard,not about other things .However, others argue that the opposite is true.They think that nowadays studens should pay more attention to the traings or jobs.Nevertheless, there is some truth on both sides.As for me ,i think,the university not only should teach the students the knowledge from the books,but also the training should also be emphasized.
    The reasons are as follows:
    Firstly, the knowledge from books are basic things that students need to learn. In the furure,when they graduate and enter into the society, knowledge of the books are very useful to them.If they know nothing at all,they cannot forge ahead.
    Secondly,the fundermental purpose the students go to school is to find a job in the future.So it is quite necessary to train them about the skills they need.
    Last but not the least, the society need all-around sthdents.The student should learn as much as possible.
    In a word, the university should not only teach them the knowledges from books but also the job skills,because they are important to them.
