    答案是 stands,sits .我想填stands，is sitting 行么？

    2.3都有 these days，第二题老师说these days是完成时标志，所以用 has been laughing .第3题的these days是与现在有关的时态，所以用 is acting
    那第二题是不是也可以用laughs哪？但是四个选项有laughs但是没选。。

    1.实际上是倒装句，前面是方位状语，主语在后面 a farmhouse、an old man。谓语看主语，所以单数。这里没有现在进行的时间、情况，is sitting 不合适。
    2. these days 应用在现在完成时里。因为肯定是说话人以现在为基点叙述过去的一段时间到现在发生的事。
    如 What have you done these days? 这些天你都做什么了？
    表从bad performance on the stage台上糟糕的表现开始，嘲笑动作一直持续到现在，甚至将来，所以用has been laughing 时态。
    第二题，不能用laughs
    3.我想知道为什么这些天他表现地这么异常？——最近的工作压力可以说明他的行为的原因。

    these days是与现在有关的时态，这几天他的情况，用has been acting,解释同2.

    1 你好。如果是 is sitting,从句部分必须是：sitting in front of which is an old man,- - - .(is与sitting要分开处理。) ------英语到这个程度应该是非常高级的了，你们老师这样教过吗？
    2.这里的these days强调动作的进行，因为laugh注重动作还在进行。你也可以用 is laughing 来表达"动作正在进行"。
    3 记住，these days + 现在进行时/现在完成进行时，或者就是现在完成时： 1 -HOW is Tom? -I haven' seen him these days,either.(现在完成时) 2 These days he is writing his 76th book for children.（现在进行时） 3 He has been writing his 76th book for children these days and will hopefully complete it soon.

    1.be+分词的完全倒装要将分词提到前面和地点状语一起。
    Standing infront of the building is a tall man.
    Gone with the wind are those wonderful days.
    所以应是 ... sitting in front of which is an old man 如果非要用进行时。
    另外 lie stand sit 这样的词本身可以是系动词，尤其是在这种倒装句时，一般不用进行时。
    2.要用 have been doing 一定要有“一直”的概念，尤其是说话人有一个从过去开始，从当时开始的一个时间原点，如本句的due to my bad performance,它就是laugh这个动作的开始，一般包含说话人强调这个动作的一直做的持续性。
    3.these days在这里正好是表示现在进行时的第二种含义，现阶段的一种状态和动作，说话人用来谈论当前一段时间忙的事情和处于的状态，如果不强调一直不间断的话，不用现在完成进行时。
