原因：
1.退休后追求舒适、休闲的生活
2.社会保险和医疗护理的作用

个人看法：老人的选择应当予以尊重
Nowaday,old aged people living alone become a trendency.There are many reasons.Part of reason maybe that after retiring, the aged purse the comfortable and relaxing life.Part pf reason could be that the effect of social insurance and medical care.Part of the reason lies in that living alone can get away from unpleasant quarrel which may derived from their children's family.
The other reason is that it is a good way to solve the problem of generation gap.Maybe it is a good thing for both the aged and the young.
But some people still hold the ordinary view that old people should live with their children because it can promote the emotion among family members, however, on my standing point of view, the aged have their rights of selecting, and we should show them more respect.

It is a trend these days that more and more elderlies choose to live alone by themselves. Some of them would like to pursue a comfortable life style at a slow pace. With more comprehensive social insurance and medicare in place, elderlies don't have to worry about not being cared for when they are ill. Living alone can also avoid unnecessary quarrels within the families and keeps the generation gap away safely as well. I think we should respect the choices of the elderlies whether they want to be alone or together.
