Good evening my dear friends, I am contestant No.17 Lin Hong from Class Six. Glad to see you and here. And today, my story for you names The brick coming at you. About ten years ago, a young and very successful manager named Josh was traveling in the street of Chicago. He was going a bit too fast in his shiny black car, which was only two months old. He was watching for kids rushing out from between cars. no child ran out, but suddenly a brick came out and—WHUMP!—it hit heavily the car’s side door! Josh turned the car angrily back to the spot from where the brick had been thrown. Josh jumped out of the car, grabbed the kid and pushed him up against a parked car. He shouted at the kid, "Who are you? What are you doing? That brick you threw is going to cost you a lot of money. Why did you throw it?" "Please, sir, please… I'm sorry! I didn't know what else to do!" cried the boy. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop his car to help!" Tears were dripping from the boy's chin as he pointed ahead with one of his fingers. "My brother fell out of his wheelchair and I can't carry him up. Would you please help me get him back?” Just then, the manager saw a man, with one leg, lying on the ground. Deeply moved, the young manager tried hard to hold back his tears. He lifted the young man back into the wheelchair, checked to see that everything was OK and then disappointed younger brother push him down sidewalk toward their home. It was a long walk back to his car—a long and slow walk. He could hardly move his legs. Josh never did fix the side door of his car. He kept it to remind him not to go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at him to get his attention. So walk slowly and don’t ignore the brick of life coming at you.And that's all my story. Thank you!翻译最好是没有多少大错误的,还有请不要用“在线翻译”,那些全是逐个词翻译的…务必要快and准……麻烦了
