In the 21st century, especially in China, where people don't think it a big deal not to respect the copyright, how many people are still paying to watch a movie in the cinema? The question might be raised that why do we have to go to the movies if the DVD's availability with little expense or free download everywhere. However, people'll never quit watching films in front of the big screem for several reasons.
To start with, your DVD players or personal computers are not gonna beat the facilities in the cinema. Even if it's a small one, the screen, the acoustics, the sense of reality in theatre can easily drag us to the wonder world created by the plot. On the contray, faced with a small display screen, you just cannot get rid of the idea - if only the script could have been more clear.
Another reason that people like about the cinema is due to the different release date. Sometimes the pirated DVD will not hit the market unless the movie leaves the theatre. For a fan of Harry Porter, there's no way he has the patience to wait for weeks. A friend of mine watched the AVATAR for three times, in the United States, Hangzhou and Shanghai seperately. To some extent, this phenomenon is no less than following the latest fashion.
Last but no least, the fascinating atmosphere in the cinema attracts couples or friends as a wise option to hang out. For those who're in love, I can't figure out a better place to go except the dark movie house having a love story being on when the lights go off. People just enjoy the sweet monent of peace and joy.
Cinemas appeal to usfor many reasons. People just can't help going to the movies and expose themselves to the fancy world with a bag of popcorn.
