和外教交流时，我必须绞尽脑汁想英语。比如当某个词你不会用英语表达时就得想办法用另外的词来解释，以此提高自己的语言表达能力。一般外教的口语都比较地道，形式多变。能从外教这里学到地道的英语。并且在无形中加大了自己的词汇量，通过说话了解到自己不会的单词，和不能表达的句型，并能及时补足，加深印象。和外教练口语能练胆，以后有机会直接与外国人对话会没那么紧张。
因为课上全是英语，所以对于自己的听力来说，也是一个很大的提高。在外教的课上，能了解到外国人与本国人不同的想法，与思维方式。并通过外教可以了解书上没有的知识，比如国外的文化习俗之类的。并开发自己的思维方式，不局限于自己传统的思维模式中。所以，在学习英语中，如果有机会通过外教来学习的话，那是再好不过了。
