将万用表的表笔从电源上拔下，用示波器来测量电源的输出（表笔一端通过BNC接头接在示波器上，另外一端通过两个鳄鱼夹分别夹到电源的正负极）。
这时你应当从示波器上看到一条直线。
请注意：示波器的最基础用法就是用来测量输入信号的电压值（对于变化信号而言则是电压范围）。为了能够通过示波器上的栅格来正确地读取测量值，你需要调节示波器的零点——在示波器上一般是一个小箭头。假如你正确地设置了分辨率（每格几伏，Volts/Div）并且将零点调到示波器显示屏的正中，那么读数就非常简单了。
找到零点，数出信号到零点之间的大格数和小格数，并计算出电压值。（译注：NM这是什么年代的示波器了……稍微新一点的数显示波器都带有自动读数功能的，不需要数格子了……）
调节电源电压，在0~6V之间选择四个值（你可以设置一些不太容易从示波器上直接读取的值，例如2.54V这样），之后在第三题的表格中填写你通过三种方法的读数。计算出每次测量值的误差比例：误差比% = 100×(输出电压 - 测量读数)÷(输出电压)。
