1, As the children are growing up, they have known more and more about socity.可不可以变成－As the children growing up, they have known more and more about socity. 2, With the children growing up, 可不可以换成：With the children are going up. 请问老师如果可以的话，请说明为什么；如果不可以的话请也说明为什么，谢谢！（主要从语法上解释）

不——可——以。
as是连词，连接句子，整体做时间状语从句。既是句子，则需主、系、表俱全。故有As the children are growing up
with是介词，后跟名词性成分，整体作状语。故有With the children growing up， growing up是动名词。

都不行的~
这里的主句是they have known more and more about socity，前面那个句子是伴随状语，
意思是随着孩子们的长大，他们会对社会越来越了解。
伴随状语一般都是这样出现的 with sth. doing sth，+ 主句
as sth. do sth. ，+ 主句
句意都是随着……，……

而在这里具体就是 with the children growing up, they have known more and more about socity
或者是 as the childeren grow up, they have known more and more about socity

好像经常都会有这类的题目： As the society develops, ……
With the society developing,……
随着社会的进步，……

所以1就要是as the childeren grow up
2由于with后面加的是表示一个伴随状语，不是一个完整句子，所以不能加are
