Mid -Autumn Festival which is celebrated on the 15th of Auguest by lunar calendar is a traditional holiday in China. On this day,every family get reuioned to taste the delicious mooncake while watching the moon that is the symbol of harvest , harmonious and happiness. Eating the mooncake is totally the same as the mince pine for the Western Christmas. These round cakes usually have a sweet filling of lotus paste or red bean paste and often have one or more salted duck eggs in the center which is the representation of moon.
