yes you can, but you have to be enrolled in certain military training program or pursue a master's degree, look at those females graduated from PLA University of Foreign Languages, they are all foreign-language-speaking soldiers, as far as i know, most of them would be sent to remote areas by the authorities to keep an ear on foreign broadcasting or the like, some of them who are lucky and capable enough would be chosen to work for high-ranking military officials, compared with people of other majors, your ability counts much more.
