2.1894年出身于北京一家贫困家庭，8岁跟吴玲仙学唱京剧，他勤学苦练，取得很大成就（make great achievements)。
3.访问过许多国家，与幽默大师（the greatest and funniest)卓别林（Chaplin)成了好朋友。
4.非常爱国，将一身奉献给了京剧事业。
5.1961年安然去世，享年68岁。

Mei lanfang is one of the most outstanding artists in the history of Beijing Opera.He was born on 1894 in a poor family in Beijing,and studied with Wu lingxian by singing Beijing Opera.He was hard-working,and made great achievements.He visited many countries,and made friiends with the greatest and funniest Chaplin.He loved China very much,and gived his all lives to Opera.He died in 1961,and lived for 68 years.
