　　I am very sorry that I could not hand in my paper in time .I write this letter to get your forgiveness for my mistake.I did not mean it.The reason for handing the paper later is I was ill and staying in hospital for 4 days .

Hello, Mr ***. I am writing to apologize to you . Last time I couldn't hand in my paper because an unexpected thing happened to my family. My father met with a traffic accident and was badly injured so I was busy looking after him in hospital for a month. But now I have made up for my paper and I will hand it in as soon as possible. I do hope that you can forgive me and give me another chance . If you could forgive me ,I would appreciate your kindness .I am looking forward to your reply.
